               DUE TO RECENT MAOIST ATTACKS ON POLICE IN DARABHA GHATI AREA OF CHHATISGARH  , ATLEAST FIVE CRPF JAWANS AND SOME POLING STAFF WERE KILLED . MAOISTS ATTACKED ON THE POLICE WHEN INNOCENT POLICE AND  POLLING STAFF WERE RETURNING FROM THE POLLING STATION AFTER CASTING OF VOTES . EARLIER THE MAOISTS HAD ISSUED APPEAL TO THE PUBLIC TO REFRAIN FROM CASTING VOTES IN CURRENT ELECTIONS. BUT DEFYING THE MAOIST APPEALS THE VOTERS TURNED OUT IN LARGE NUMBERS TO CAST THEIR VOTES . BEING FRUSTRATED THE MAOISTS ATTACKED ON THE INNOCENT POLICE PARTY .
